Is my homecoming dress too casual. I want a homecoming dress but not one too formal. It is to casual right now but you could do a lot for cheep to make it prom ready. I m looking for a casual black or red dress with a higher neck.

I wore quite a plain dress to my prom. But you got it on sale so why not you ll be the star of the evening. It would be great for a high school prom though.

I recon that if you accessories it with a nice bag some jewlery and some shoes you will rock that prom. Seeing the words semi formal on a wedding invitation doesn t mean you get to combine casual clothing with a tux jacket or a long dress with a pair of sneakers. What people probablly don t realize is that if you ve picked it you obviously look great in it and thousands of dresses look nicer on than off.

When your hosts don t want to be too suit and gown but are still setting standards for their event to be relatively formal they might tell you to wear semi formal wedding dress.
